
Barbara Dunbar is a modern and progressive teacher with forty years of experience in the classroom from public to independent schools. She earned a Masters Degree in French and lived abroad for a year. She then taught French from the elementary to the high school. Her interest then shifted to the field of special education in which she earned her certification in learning disabilities.
Barbara demonstrates her commitment to lifelong learning by:
- Annually attending conferences, workshops, and classes about brain-based learning.
- Implementing multiple channels of instruction, individualized lessons, and technology as essential tools.
